How is calling the all in on the turn when the jack fell here? I hated doing it, but I figured I was pot committed and had outs if I was behind to the straight. Thanks.

I think you played this hand alright, I just have a problem with the size of your raise on the flop. You have top set, yet there are scary draws on the board. Your raise doesn't make sense to me. It leaves you with T300 in a big pot, which means you are too pot committed to fold, and you can not get much folding equity by betting.

I think you should either go all in on the flop, or make a smaller reraise. If you reraised it to 300, you would have 600 left to make a nice bet on the turn. You could get a missed draw (a lone jack, a lone ace, a nine) to fold on the turn if they miss. While the way you played it, no one can fold on the turn with one of those cards.

The turn came and was ugly. If you went with my plan you would've been able to fold on the turn. Then again, you would've been bluffed off the best hand, however in the long run I like my line better than yours.

Good call. 5 to 1 pot odds with at least 9 outs if you are behind. You are pot committed at this point anyway.
