View Full Version : Bad beat or bad play on bubble.

2 table tourney. Top 4 finish in the money. I was sure I had the best hand but should I get involved with a raise like that? I have read that it may even be correct to fold A-A in similar situatiuons due to the fact that I'd still be in the money and in great shape to finish high.

If finishing in the money is your prime concern then you probably should have folded, but if you wanted to win the tournament you cna't be folding QQ here. One other option would be to just call the raise, but would have ended up the same I'm sure, as you would have pushed in post flop, and been called.

agreed. you did the right thing at this stage in the tourney. He just got lucky and was foolish to call the all in. Don't sweat it.
