The pot was huge, and all I was thinking about was how to get people to fold. Should I have dropped out sooner?

Hmmm. I admire your aggression, but I think there is zero chance that you're ahead here after the flop, and there is also zero chance anyone with an Ace is folding. You put in way too many bets on the flop and turn when you should have given up the ship instead.

The play on the river is also disturbing. Why did you put in all those bets and raises, and then fold for one last bet at the very end?

This looks like you were tilting. Your pre-flop play was good, but that's about it.

I think that based on reading some of the posts here, and playing enough (not well enough yet), that many people play hole cards with any A with crappy kickers, even off-suit. If there is a bet and a raise before you bet again, then probably someone has an A.

With the preflop action, you have to assume your against quality hands i.e. high pocket pair and large suited connectors ala AKs AQs. As soon as that A flopped with 2 suited cards, my red lights start going off.

It is common to see A-crap-off at this limit. Especially with 8 to the flop your QQ is worthless. Fold.

You would normally like to see the turn here if you could, but when it's two cold to you on the flop and probably going to be at least one more, you are given the perfect opportunity to throw your queens away and not have to feel bad about it.
