Hey bdk3clash,
The only thing I might do different is sometimes I lead out here on the flop. Other times, I play it like you did. I really like the river bet.

I think I would have led out on the flop, but checking like you did may may induce him to semi-bluff a lower pair than yours with more confidence now that I think about it.

Nice river bet.

UTG+2 called. He had 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, and MHIG.
Playing Ace-weak kicker this way has been very, very successful for me recently at the Party 1/2 level. Give 'em enough rope, I guess.

...UTG+2 raises the river.
Easy fold? Crying call? Intentional disconnect?
I'd just bet every street.

Shocking.
Ha! I used to checkraise this flop routinely, but was recently corrected by Clarkmeister. Think how strong your hand is after 2 limpers. Sure they play any Ace, but Kx and blah blah and all these other hands will play along.

I was just in a pot. I raise from late position with 99. Queen on flop. Bet, get raised by a maniac who is so bad, re-raise. Turn is a blank. Bet, get called by maniac and other guy who always calls. River is an Ace. I bet, but think I'm toast.
They call and show their cards. 9 high for one and 4 high for the other.

Do you use this regularly as part of your game? I thought about whether to take advantage of my 2 all-ins but decided that I don't learn anything from it, so I don't use it...

I think he was kidding. Personally, I've never resorted to it. I wouldn't want someone else to do it to me, so Golden Rule applies here for me.

This is where the rest of the table nod their heads in all seriousness, while I smile inside.

I was kidding. I never do this.
Brad never intentionally disconnects online. I've seen him do it live, however. That is a sight. Gasping for air, falling backward, the whole deal. Angle shooter. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I would limp with 98 at a passive table in this postition, esp with a TAG stuck in the BB /images/graemlins/grin.gif
Would you laugh at me? /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Would you laugh at me?
Sure, but not for the limp.
