Good luck down there steamboatin. If you don't mind, I'd
like to read a trip report when you get back, I'm going
sometimes within the next few months. I'll play the lower
limits also with the upper being 6/12 if they have it.
I like 4/8.
I was going to tell you about my Caesars Monday tourney
experience too, ( a few weeks back), I got there on a Friday
evening and played 4/8 and won the most I've ever won in a session, 7 hours and $395.00, went Saturday around 10:00 AM
got seated quick and the next 11 hours ground out another
80.00 (after being down 150.00 for 9 hours) It was TUFF /images/graemlins/smile.gif
I called the Caesars Motel Saturday when I got back to the
Georgetown Motel 6 and killed 4 huge damn spiders in that
filthy f*%#@ing place and got an answering service stating
Caesars operating hours at the reservations desk. So I called at 9:00 AM CST and was told they were sold out and
have been for 48 hours. So no tourney for me. You have to register in person and be the first 25 to do so, or you must
spend Sunday or Monday night in the motel to get a
guaranteed seat in Monday's NL tournament.
I plan on booking a room next time at least a week in advance.

Friday was a good night, I won $145 even after totally blowing one big hand, I made a nut flush on the river and didn't put the other guy on a full house, don't ask me why or how, it was like the Pink Floyd album, A Momentary Laspe of Reason. Anyways, I paid him off pretty good but made it back later.
