Trying to get some feedback on my turn bet here, but you can talk about everything other street as well of course. Playing against SB who is a pretty typical player here.

POKERSTARS 5/10 (6 max, 5 players)

get dealt J/images/graemlins/spade.gif 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif in BB

preflop:

folded to the SB who raises, i call

flop:

5/images/graemlins/spade.gif 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif

SB bets, I raise, SB reraises, I cap

turn:

8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

SB checks, I bet (?), SB calls

river:

K/images/graemlins/spade.gif

SB bets, I raise, SB reraises, I call

SB shows nutflush (A/images/graemlins/spade.gif 10/images/graemlins/spade.gif) and takes it down

I would probably fold this preflop. If I did call and cap the flop then I'd check behind on the turn.

Quick caveat - my aggression factor is only 1.58 which I think is much more conservative than most here

The only reason I see to cap the flop is to get a free card on the turn. I doubt the SB is folding to one bet on the turn but I guess you never know.

I wouldn't have capped the flop but then I probably would have had to call a bet on the turn. If I had capped the flop I would have taken my free card. I would have played the river the same as you in either case.

You're right. I probably would have folded preflop as well.

Let the SB have this. I'm folding this PF.
