UB multi last night, started with 373. This first hand I was the chip leader. The whole tourney, I have been making a standard 3x BB raise, and showing down legit hands. Disregard that UTG called with pocket 3's and then also called my 3x BB raise with them. My question has to do with my bets on the flop, turn and river. My thinking is they were too small, and gave away the weakness of my hand.
Would I have been better off to let it go after the flop bet was called, or to make a larger, pot sized bet on the turn?

The second AQ hand, I think I made a mistake that I make frequently with this hand. I KNOW that AQ plays better heads up, but didn't protect myself by re-raising the short stacked's all-in. By just calling I allowed the button to see the flop for 760, which as an aside, I don't make that call for 1/4 of my stack with an all-in and a caller. BUT, I'm trying to take responsibility for my own actions, and I'm pretty sure the proper play should have been to re-raise and shut him out. Any thoughts, BTW, UTG in this second hand went on to win the tourney. Upsetting that a play like this gets rewarded, but I did nothing to stop it, so.....

In the first hand, I think you did all you could to get him out. Were these bets smaller than the bets you make w/ TPTK? Make sure you keep a note not to bluff this guy.

Hand 2, I fold or raise to isolate preflop. Once the flop comes, its an easy call. (Turns out you were a little behind, but that's okay w/ the overlay)

In a tournament situation, where you miss the flop with big cards, it is generally right to make one solid attempt on the flop and end it there. That's not to say you can't call on the river if you think he might be bluffing, for example, but betting all three streets with ace-high just bleeds too many chips in situations like this one.

In the second hand, I think your analysis is correct.
