After whiffing on the c/r on the turn (correct?) should I have risked whiffing on the river or just bet out? My thinking was that I wouldn't miss again on the river after the others feared not the flush.

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO calls, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (6 SB) 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 5/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif (6 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets, MP2 folds, CO calls, Button folds, Hero calls, BB calls.

Turn: (5 BB) J/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, CO checks.

River: (5 BB) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (4 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG calls, CO folds, Hero raises, BB calls, UTG folds.

Final Pot: 10 BB
Main Pot: 10 BB, between Hero and BB. > Pot won by Hero (10 BB).

Results in white below:
Hero shows 8h 2h (flush, queen high).
BB shows Qd 3d (one pair, queens).
Outcome: Hero wins 10 BB.

Turn: Had you had an Ace (or maybe King) high flush I'd buy the argument of c/r the turn, but in your case it's too risky to give a free card. I'd bet.

River: I like it here.
