I know that it is expected to have your blinds be negative bb / hr, but I'm wondering how bad I really am. Over my past 8,000 hands my stats are as follows in the blinds (these are all PP 15/30, so I'm in with a lot of $5 small blind completions):
BB: Vol Pot = 26.33, Win % = 18%, BB won / hand = -.24
SB: Vol Pot = 42.32, Win % = 13%, BB won / hand = -.24
My Vol Pot % from all positions is 18.21%.
Over these 8,000 hands, I am playing at a rate of 1.18 BB / hr (1.61 True Rate with multi-tables). I feel like I was a better blind player when I first started...now I have lost all confidence.
Are these numbers way out of line, or is this to be expected? I am considering becoming extremely tight in the blinds, and only playing hands that I would play UTG, unless there is no raise. I feel like I would be better off letting my blinds be stolen every time than getting involved. As I look at the numbers, maybe I am just playing WAY too loose here, and need to tighten up.
Any thoughts?
