I am looking for a DVD set of the World Series of Poker, similar to the DVD set on the following eBay auction: eBay Auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=617&item=630435781 6&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW). Where would I be able to purchase such a DVD set, excluding eBay?

Does anyone have any idea why there are such huge price differences in some of the ones on ebay. I'm 99% sure I saw the same exact one sell for $300 something a day or two ago. Is there a difference or was the supply a lot shorter earlier this week?

No, I did not look at a WSOP DVD Set until today. If there are WSOP DVD Sets sold outside of eBay, please list them.

The reason they're sold on ebay is because they're not official.

WSOP is the World Series of Poker. WPT is the World Poker Tour.

Well, thanks for the replies. Since I have been told by Blindfolk that the DVD set is not official, I have another question. If anyone has bought a DVD set of the World Series of Poker, please leave feedback.

Best Buy Carries a lot of box sets, you could call them or check out the website.

As I said before, there is no WSOP box set or dvd set.

These are people taking VHS tapes and transferring the footage to DVD.

Go ahead and buy them but don't think you're getting an official product like the WPT set.

I bought one on Ebay, and I am going to start lending it out to everyone here. You just sign up, and then mail it to the next person after you watch it or copy it or whatver. It supposed to come in this week, so check out the internet forum for details.

Indeed. There is the large market of poker enthusiasts who would definitely buy an archive of the WSOP (I would love to see archival grade footage of some of the classic matchups) so I am suprised that ESPN hasn't already gotten on the ball with that one.
