Limit hold em tourney....What to do?

I was recently playing ina limit hold em tourney $50 buy in, no rebuys...110 entrants 2500 in chips to start
Played very tightly for the first hour. In round four about 50 people left...I haven't seen a good hand all day finally pick up tens in BB with about 2300 in chips remaining....one limper and button raises...i re-raise limper re-raises all in for both players...Limper has A-7, raiser has AKs...a king flopped and i go home next hand....my question is should i get in a race that soon?? I figured i was a favorite pre-flop

Good question, I can see calling the raise, but is a re-raise really called from pre-flop?

I was thinking that my re-raise would get me heads up with AK and get rid of KQ or AJ where any face card would beat me
