Are suited gaps worth playing in late position if 5 or 6 have limped in front of you? Since these players will generally play any 2 cards, I'm not very happy when the flush comes. And, since I'm playing gap cards, my odds of getting the straight have gone down. Therefore, is it even still woth limping?

How many gaps? I have a friend who refers to 4-gappers. I love that.

I generally don't play 1 gap. Is this too tight?

there is very little difference between 1-gaps and 0-gaps. there is a dropoff after that. you should play slightly tighter with 1-gaps, but with 5 or 6 limpers you can't be folding something like 97s.

Hi,

If my vote makes a difference, don't fold suited 1 gappers if there are 3-4 callers ahead of you.

There is an upside on the fewer str8's the 1 gaps make, if you hit 2 pair, its really unlikely someone has a OESD. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
