...for those who play more then 24 hours a week live\online combine. How long is your average live session? What about online?

The 6 hour live session often ends for a dinner break and starts up after for another 4-6.

8/4, (2, 2 hour sessions when I play online).

I thought I was the only one that could do marathon sessions live but went insane playing online for more than a couple of hours.

I wonder why it is. Everyone so far plays longer live, usually by a factor of 2 or more. Whats so frustrating/tiring/insanity-inducing/whatever about playing online versus live. Very little time between hands, especially when multitabling may be a big factor.

I can't believe how hard it is to play more than 25 hours a week when multitabling.

You guys are a bunch of ginys. I have two full days left this work week, and I'm already at 38 realtime hours. This is neither unusual nor taxing for me. I've never really understood why online play is so hard for so many people.

Back in my day, we used to be able to play 60-80 hours a week online, and we liked it, even when we had to walk uphill -- BOTH WAYS -- to get to the computer.

Funny everyone has the same gap... But doing 4 tables at 60 hands per hour per table - 3 hours is 720 hands and live the 8 hours is a measly 240 hands at 30 hands/hour.

Online that is a lot of decisions in a short amount of time - if your playing optimally (i.e. thinking/obnserving/notetaking) it is pretty taxing.

I like to take at least an hour off between sessions.

Sitting there listening to music looking at 30 hands per hour is a lot different than sitting there unable to move looking at 530 hands per hour. Even most multitablers are only getting 280 hands per hour.
