I have been finishing 4th a lot in these SNGs (which I'm fairly new to) and I wonder its because I'm playing early rounds well, keeping out of trouble, collecting a few chips here and there, but somehow failing to adjust enough in the latter stages. (Or whether I was just unlucky)

Should I be turning into a maniac nearer the end, raising with anything and hoping for the best?

What I'm mostly doing is broadening my hand selection as players drop out.

This may be a bit broad to get many responses. You might be better off posting some of the hands that busted you out (unless you played very tightly and were essentially blinded out, which is a separate issue), and see what people say about specific plays.

Also, go back a few days and look for some recent discussions of play on the bubble, and when/weather you want to become more aggressive.

Good luck!
