Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed)

Opponents are the average 5/10 party players, it seems like I'm only going to be called/raised by better hands.

Results to follow.

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG folds, MP calls, Hero raises, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls, MP calls.

Flop: (6.40 SB) A/images/graemlins/club.gif, 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets, BB calls, MP folds.

Turn: (4.20 BB) 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (6.20 BB) 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
BB checks, Hero ???

Man, I'm the King of "he's only going to call me if he beats me" and even I bet that river.

ok, ok, just checking, I bet without much of a thought at the time and my opponent folded. Afterwards it occurred to me it might be marginal. I guess not.

Take it from a recovering weak-tight river player...
BET!!!

Given that everyone here has said BET I'd still like to know:

What on earth did they have to go all the way to the river?
Especially considering they folded to a bet?
I can't put them on a hand.

The way Party 5/10 plays, he could have had anything at all. 89 is likely, as KQ or KJ. If this surprises you, then you should be playing at Party.

It does frankly. I shy out of playing 5/10 at Paradise because the game is tough!

I'm starting to think I should be cashing in my Paradise bankroll and play at Party exclusively. (But there are a few things I'd miss if I did that.)

You are giving up major edge if you continue to play at Paradise.
