The trial vs does no have the option to check Empire on the automatic download menu. Also, it does not reconize from outlook an e-mail from Empire with hands histories, Am I missing something?

thanks

Empire is on the menu -- scroll up. I couldn't find it at first either. Don't know about Outlook, but I would recommend just using a better e-mail client, or using the POP3 feature.

I never had problems with any of this (auto request, check e-mail, Outlook Express) with either the trial or full version (2.03.01) of PT with Empire. Note that you have to move the hand histories into the LOCAL INBOX in order for PT to see them - it won't work with them in any other folder.

There was an interesting little something about an application you can buy for other e-mail clients in this thread (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=books&Number=722350&Forum= All_Forums&Words=outlook&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Mai n=718709&Search=true&where=bodysub&Name=10072&date range=1&newerval=1&newertype=y&olderval=&oldertype =&bodyprev=#Post722350). I haven't tried it yet, though, and I don't know if you could set it up to fully automate PT to check a Hotmail account like a POP3.

Works fine for me.

Yikes, don't pay $18 for that program.

There is a freeware (open source?) utility that I use called MrPostman, which contains wrappers for Hotmail, Yahoo and others. It serves as a POP3 proxy, so you log into it as you would a normal POP3 server, and it in turn checks your Hotmail/Yahoo Mail/etc. via an HTTP connection that you never need to see. Works like a charm with PokerTracker (just make sure you change the port that it runs on -- PT only lets you have a 3-digit port number).
