I've been playing some NL SNGs on UB...usually in the $20 - $100 range...doing pretty well at them, too...pretty much just for fun as an alternative to my live games, where I have an exclusive bankroll for my 15-30 limit games...but i'm liking the possibilities on UB...so I'm wondering if anyone has a formula for calculating the ideal bankroll for playing SNGs...whether they be 10-handed or 6-handed...and at the $20, $30, $50 and $100 tables...much thanks!

This has been much debated, I try 25-30 buy ins. Some say 50, some say as little as ten.

I was thinking 30...any thoughts on when to move up in limits? Obviously when you have reached 30 buy-ins of the higher limit, I would assume...

AGain, there's a lotta posts regarding moving up limits.
Quick summary: skill doesn't increase that much between limits. Moving up should mainly be dictated by your backroll. If you're just doing it for fun I'd say aim for 25 buyins. Move up a level when you get that much. Drop down a level if your BR goes down to 25 buyins at the lower level.
