Bible I practically begged for a sequel, which went on to become the greatest selling book of all time (I maintain that sequels are never better than the original). You'd think Brown would have capitalized on the success of Bible II. Forced and contrived as it was. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nonetheless, are the facts in the da Vinci Code true?

I'd hate to be a Catholic Priest reading this. It turns their world upside down.

Lots of revelations though. Why isn't this book called "Bible III"?

He wrote a prequel to the da Vinci Code called Angels and Demons. I liked both books, but I think Angels and Demons was better.

Well that's the question of the day isn't it?

There is a book called Holy Blood, Holy Grail that explores a lot of this theory. Any Catholic Priest worth his salt isn't going to find about this theory by reading Da Vinci Code. I haven't read it yet (I am chapter 5), but I was able to blindly guess the theory by talking to a friend. This theory has been around for some time. No big whoop.
