Hi,

I'm a $20 and $30 SNG NLHE player on Party. I've read HEPAP, The Theory of Poker, and TPFAP, but I was hoping to find some books that deal with no-limit a bit more. Any suggestions?

PL & NL Poker by Ciaffone and Reuben,
the NL section of SuperSystem, and
about anything else written by Brunson.

As you have noticed, most of what seems to be in print is about the limit games, and about ring games rather than tournament. For Tournament info, not necessarily NL, try
Poker Tournament Strategies by Suzuki.

I think Ciaffone’s Middle Limit Holdem is one of the best books out there on poker. It is 400 examples of a paragraph of detailed analysis of a given hand, grouped by type (“flop play, overpairs, bluffing opportunities, etc.). It’s geared for Limit, but the thought processes are extremely applicable to NL.

After theory of poker, this has helped my game more than the other ones I’ve read: Lee Jones, Sklanskys Advanced and Tourney books, Hellmuth, SuperSystem, McEvoy/Cloutier NL.
