9 player sit and go... 5 minutes into the game I get KK, I raise to $100 pre-flop, blinds are of course still at 20. I get 3 callers. Flop I think is J-7-2 somethin like that. I bet 100 get 2 callers. 4th brings like a 5. I bet 100, get 1 caller. River brings 10. I check, other guy goes all-in. Do you call?

Fold. He has the 8 and 9 of /images/graemlins/club.gif.

He went all-in BUT he already knows you have a strong hand.
So does he want you to call or fold?

Yeah, maybe he could have 89s...I just don't know if he calls PF with that.

J10s? Two pair on the river? That's what I would think.

You put yourself in this awkward situation by betting way too little on the flop, a pot sized bet would have been about right. As it is, I would fold on the river, you are probably beat.

Not sure what level this is, but if it's $10, I'd push. The maniacs are still in, so you could EASILY be looking at AT or AJ.

I agree with Tyler that you need to be more aggressive on the flop.

You bet too little the whole way. And why did you check the river? Were you really afraid of the 89??

i would fold here for sure. they way this hand was played would lead you to believe that your opponent was on a draw or was slowplaying AA.

one way to avoid this as others point out is to make a bigger get on the flop. I disagree somewhat as I prefer to make a small bet on the flop and then if no draws get there on the turn to move all in. if my opponent is playing 2P or slowplaying AA then so be it.

Why give draws a chance to get there on the turn?

Fold....you did it to yourself...

Pot it on the Flop...that should solve your problem...if he calls then push on the Turn.....if he hit a set so be it and if he has 2 pair at that point make a note and look for him again....

$100 into a $400 pot....what is that supposed to do?
