10/20.

6 players see the flop for one bet. I have QJo in the BB.

The flop comes Jh 10h 3c (I don't have any club). SB checked, I bet and got two callers.

The turun was Ks. I bet, first guy folded, next guy raised. I don't really know much at all about this player. My impression is that he is competent but nothing fantastic. I called.

The river pairs the 10. What's your play?

I will post the results and my thoughts in a separate post.

All comments welcome.

i meant to say i had no heart in that above post obviously, but anyway...

i checked and he checked behind. we chopped the pot, since he had QJ also.

Reasons to check include: 1) He may well check a K on the river, fearing a check-raise, which would give me a free showdown. 2) He didn't strike me as the type of person to lay a K down on the river. 3) I don't think that there was any real chance that he had AJ (he didn't seem that tricky).

Reasons to bet: 1) I'm going to be in a bitch of a spot if he bets. 2) It's very hard for him to raise me unless he has a huge hand, so it's a) unlikely that he will raise, and b) I have an easy laydown if he does.

If he's an average player, you have to hope he has the same hand as you. There's not much you can beat on the river.
