Andy, in a recent thread I said some things to you in a hurtful manner for which I apologize. You are too nice and genuine a person to berate as I did.
When you responded to Gamblor's post, picking on a couple of minor details instead of picking up on the major points, I felt it an inappropriate response. An important imam who publicly advocates genocide got glowing coverage by the Western press with no mention of his background or his true views, and you responded as if what mattered most was Gamblor's exact wording. It seemed to me almost as if you were defending the imam and the press from Gamblor's unreasonable attacks. This irked me substantially since I think the central issues are very important indeed. Hence my unkind words--for which I apologize, again. You didn't deserve that.
