I was just wondering if any of you thought I should've played this differently.

I would have raised preflop to about 90. Given that you didnt, I would have raised the flop to about 150. Given that you didn't do that either, I would definitely push it allin on the turn. You are giving the guy with the flush cards odds to draw to his flush, and the fact that he has one overcard makes it even more appealing to stay in. You definitely do not want to see that river if you can help it.

Definitely bet more on the flop, and absolutely push it all in on the turn. Either way you have the best hand and bring your opponents odds to outdraw you way down. Being a fish clinging desparately to the flush he probably wont lay it down, but you are getting the best odds and chips for your effort.

This may be weak tight and $10+1 thinking, but I'd fold preflop. If you're going to play with it raise. The only way you could have taken this one down is to overbet the pot on the flop, as he's not going anywhere with a four flush and a gutshot.

Pre-flop: Raise it. You don't want everybody and his brother to see the flop with you. Raising is your only means of protection. On the flop I think your raise is OK. I figured someone had a flush draw or a straight draw. Sometimes no matter how much you raise they just will not go away. I think it is better to bet big on the turn after a brick hits, then you are an even bigger favorite. With that being said, why did you bet on the river? Check it down man. If he missed his flush, he will not call anyways. If he happened to have Kxs, which some people do play, he now has you beat. If he has JT and went for a check raise... Remember, only bet the river if you have the best hand IF YOU ARE CALLED. You could have saved $200.
