alright say u get pocket aces and the flop is K,K,A. you are the last person to bet. I guess thats called the button but i could be wrong. The very first person goes all in and everyone leading up to you folds in fear he has a king. since you are the last person left can u flip over your cards and let him know u have 2 aces and make a judge on whether you should call or not by his behaviour when he see your pocket aces? i never heard of that being done before so i don't know if it would be "legal". thanks.

I don't know why you would be considering a fold with aces full, but here's a link (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=738991&page=&view=&sb=5&o =&vc=1).

I know that most tournaments consider a hand dead if it is shown before the actual showdown. I have also seen a hand declared dead in a live casino game when the player, a newbe who didn't really know what he was doing, flipped over his cards when it was his turn to act on the flop. He had a straight flush draw, but luckily for him he wouldn't have made his hand. I'm not sure though if they would automatically have called it dead if it was just him and one other player. I do know that in Super System, Doyle suggests making this play in order to help you make a decision by watching the other player's reaction. The book is a bit old though, so I don't know if any rules have been made since then.

This technique is known as angle shooting, its looking for a read. As a semi regular tournament director my rules on this are, first person to do it in a tournament gets a warning and the entire tournament is given the same warning, next time anyone does it their hand is DEAD.

Its really just bad form, imho.
