8-16 at the Bellagio.

I raise UTG with pocket QsQc, solid player in SB calls, BB folds.

Flop is 7s-7c-2s - He leads, I raise, he 3-bets, I call.

Turn 2h. He bets, I call.

River 5d. He bets, I call and get shown KK.

How to better play this situation?

Thanks,

Clark

Don't play pocket queens when an opponent has pocket kings.

Other than that, you did nothing wrong.

Would your opponent have done anything different with pocket Jacks?

Nothing you could do. Just got the hand at the wrong time. He is actually more likely to have a smaller pair when didn't 3 bet preflop. Like 1010,JJ,99.
