The Cerritos Library (in Los Angeles County) has got to be the most beautiful library, inside and out, in the U.S.A.
They remodeled the place about a year or so ago. Here are a few photos that are available at the site, unbelievable:

The Exterior (http://www.ci.cerritos.ca.us/library/photos/exterior.html)

2nd Floor Interior (http://www.ci.cerritos.ca.us/library/photos/second_floor.html)

3rd Floor Conference Center (http://www.ci.cerritos.ca.us/library/photos/conference_center.html)

15,000 gallon salt-water aquarium (http://www.ci.cerritos.ca.us/library/photos/main_street.html)

The New Seattle Public library that recently opened is an interesting building. There was a web link to views building from the inside and out at the Seattle Times. Don't know if it is still up.
