What's your move here? How much should I bet on the flop, or should I bet at all?

Bet the pot if checked to. And I'd call an allin raise. If he bets anything substantial, raise allin.

Only KQ has you beat, and you've got several outs to beat that one too.

I'd call a bet here as well (pot is good), I'd call an all-in bet too. Actually a loose call 7/8 probably suited has you beat, but with top set, you've got to bet it.

Why just call preflop? You've got JJ. I'd come over the top for 120. Its too vulnerable a hand to let it slide for 2xBB.

I'd pop it with a pot bet postflop. You've gotta believe you have the best hand, and at best someone either paired up or has a K and a gutshot.

I did exactly as Pete suggested - pot sized bet and then called an allin. MP1 turned over KQ. Ouch.

D'oh, Thanks for catching the oversight. I'm even more of an idiot since I lost with that exact hand last night against an utg Q8o on a JT9 board. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Reraising preflop here is not a bad idea, but again this is opponent dependant. Some people play AA, KK, QQ in EP by min raising and building a pot. In which case you'd play JJ like you would 22, and call for the implied odds for a set. If your opponent had made this dumb raise a few times, going over the top is a good idea so you can play heads up.

When the flop comes like that, find any way you can to get your chips in the middle on the flop. You are going to be ahead a ton of the time, and when you're not, you have seven outs and a redraw for three more outs on the turn.

He had KQ, oh well. Get your money in here every time.
