This is the hand I got busted with in a $50+5 Party SnG. I'm confident I played this correctly, but am looking for reassurance.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (8 handed)

Hero (t1275)
CO (t1480)
Button (t1355)
SB (t335)
BB (t1390)
UTG (t840)
UTG+1 (t2115)
MP1 (t1210)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls t50, MP1 folds, Hero raises to t300, CO folds, Button folds, SB raises to t335 (All-In), BB calls t285, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls t35.

Flop: (t1055) 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players, 1 all-in)
BB checks, Hero bets t940 (All-In), BB calls t940.

Turn: (t2935) 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players, 2 all-in)

River: (t2935) 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: t2935

Results in white below:
BB shows 7h 7s (full house, sevens full of nines).
Hero shows Ad Ac (two pair, aces and nines).
SB shows Kc Kh (two pair, kings and nines).
Outcome: BB wins t2935.

I wouldn't have waited for the flop to push. My money's going all in before the flop.

I would have reraised all in but could only call the SB's extra t35. Hate that!

Not a lot you can do here, the SB's allin doesn't reopen the betting so you're forced to play this one out from the flop onwards.

I might have checked the flop on the basis that he might fold a couple of hands I was beating (AK, AQ?), pairs less than 99 and only call with another overpair or a hand that was beating me. I would only be doing that however to encourage him to bet a weaker hand on the turn so I could call anyway increasing the range of hands I might end up all in against. Either way, the money would be going in (now or on the turn) with AA to this flop (which you generally love w AA to the extent I would be prepared to slowplay it) and the pot equalling what I have left in front of me.

So, I might have played it slightly differently but still would have gone broke.

Better luck next time
