For the moment. My guess is that they will feather in the other games as they gain confidence in it.

Either that or they're calculating whether they can get away with things like $50+9.

5+1 is the max?? Why can't they just go up to $200 like they have with normal SNGS?

My guess is they will in time. Right now they are just letting people try them at the $5 level.

Thats just a bit stupid by them I think. I can't see many people being bothered playing $5 SNGs.

There's never any shortage of players for the $5 games.

In any case, the announcement says up to $20, so my guess is they will go to $20 very soon.

Probably more than any other sng limit on party.

Yes there will be large numbers to play the $5 but they will be the normal low limit games. Those who play higher are unlikely to bother with them.

yuck. linear prize structure. how long does it take to finish one?

in a single table $20+2 sng, it only takes 50 min:
1- 5x buy in
2- 3x buy in
3- 2x buy in

Sounds like the one I was in. Does your screen name start with big? I went out something like 15th. That thing played pretty tight after the 1st round or two.

I hopped in a 3-table 5+1 on my lunch just to see what they were like.

Prize structure was as follows:

Total prize pool: $150

1st - $45.00 - 30%
2nd - $37.50 - 25%
3rd - $30.00 - 20%
4th - $22.50 - 15%
5th - $15.00 - 10%

Blinds went up every 10 minutes, structure for the first 6 levels was 10/15, 10/20, 15/30, 25/50, 50/100, 75/150.

I got knocked out in 10th place during level 6. At the one hour break there were only 7 people left. It suprised me that it went as fast as it did but that could possibly be due to the 5+1 level.

The only other thing I noticed was that the lobby screen stopped updating when it was down to 12 players. I wasn't able to watch the tournament to the end so I don't know what the total time was but I imagine it would have finished in 1 1/2 hours total.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it means No Message. As in, everything's written in the subject line.

The one I was watching said it was 30min per level? What is the dilly-o? It was heads-up, and over 3 hours into it. They even take breaks! I think 15min levels would be good, looked like 1000 chips.
