Wow, that's impressive. I definitely did not get the right answer... but here are some more thoughts in white:

<font color="white"> What about 'score' for 20 and 'gross' for 144</font>

I figured it was the same number also, because by skipping 11 the sequence does not contain the two numbers that win on the come out roll in craps.

I guess I had a mis-spent youth /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

But the sequence contains a 1, which is obviously unattainable in craps.

And since the 1 is unobtainable in craps, it belongs in the sequence of numbers that are NOT winners on the come-out roll in craps. The next number after 12 would be 13, of course, because it is also not a winner.
