This is not a whine post. At least it's not suppose to be. You guys hear more than your fair share of those as it it, and I certainly stand for more than my fair share of them.
After what now clearly was a VERY good run for me for the first 20k hands of 2/4 and the first 10.3k hands of 3/6, I'm a loser for the last 19k hands of 3/6 and 2/4.
As far as I know, 20k hands is not enough to show your true win rate. It'll given you an indication though. What I wonder though, is how likely it is that you, after playing a total of 69k hands at two limits, are a loser for the last 19k of those hands? Losing streak occur, I know they say a B&M player can be a loser at the end of a year. Assuming 35 hands per hour, 170 hours per month, those 19k hands can be worked through in little over 3 months. I assume though that when they in general speak about a loser after one year of B&M play, they are refering to someone playing a little higher than 2/4 and/or 3/6?
Still, doesn't sound as being a loser after 19k hands is anything to worry about? 19k hands is not that much.
What I'm looking for is feedback on the numbers I provide here, how common it is with losing streak this long (short) and so on.
The numbers:
6.7k hands of 3/6 for a profit of -$445 = -1.1 BB / 100
12.5k hands of 2/4 for a profit of $153 = .31 BB / 100
Total 19.2k hands for a profit of -$291 = -.19 BB / 100
Not much of a loser, more breaking even I suppose. Anyway, if you've been around for a while and could supply some information about various streaks, numbers etc, I'd appreciate it. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
