I think I really botched this. Once there were three bigg betters in there, do you go allin auto?

Opinions Please:

well, if i think i can get called preflop with AA, i will push, personally. with an UTG big raiser and that many callers, i definitely think its an auto all in. in this case it appears you would have been beaten anyways, but i would say in this situation the right move is all in preflop

one thing this hand brings to mind is the fact that most players do not think enough about the hand when they bet all in. if you are first to act you have to think about what happens when you are called if you bet all in. with this flop there isno reason at all to bet all in on the flop. no one with a hand that can call will lose to you. if one of those guys had KK they would have reraised again preflop and a worse pair is not going to call on this flop without improvement. if they dont have anything then a smaller bet will get the job done.

i think the mistake here is preflop. you should have raised at least the pot and maybe more. with two callers for 100 another raise of 125 by you is not going to get anyone to fold. and four handed you are not in great shape.if you were going to just bet all in acting first on the flop you may as well go all in preflop and hope to get called by KK or QQ or the type of hand that would fold on the flop without improvement.
