I'm travelling to St. Louis this weekend, and am wondering where the best holdem games are. I know at least one riverboat has a card room, are there more than one and which is the fishiest?

afaik the only place to play is still the ameristar in st. charles. 44 and 40 both hit 270 if you're coming west from the city. take 270 north to 70 west, and you'll see it on the right about a mile down as soon as you cross the bridge.

Thanks! The dealers at Harrah's E. Chicago have alluded to another room opening on one of the boats. I'll let you know if that's the case.

the harrah's (about a mile away from ameristar) is re-opening its poker room, but i'm not sure when it's going to be completed. the president casino in downtown st. louis has a poker room as well, but afaik it's sparsely populated and the only games running are 1-5 spread stud and 1-4-8-8 spread holdem.
