slightly worried I am playing too tight as of late, I feel like my stats are good but my VP$IP is much lower than others' I've seen.

Going to post some of my previous stats for comparison.

I play .5/1 at Paradise.

My first 3740 hands
VP$IP - 16.90
VP$SB - 33.93
folded sb to steal - 90.00
folded bb to steal - 63.64
att to steal blinds - 27.87
won $ wsf - 27.68
bb/hr - 0.65
bb/100 - 1.04
went to sd % - 36
won $ at sd - 49.37
pfr% 5.94
aggression factors
PF .45
flop 1.7
turn 1.75
river .91
folded to river bet 38.6

My next 4100 hands
VP$IP 15.54
VP$SB 28.16
W$SF 27.84
BB/hr 2.68
BB/100 4.33
WtSD 32.56
W$SD 50.65
PFR% 5.37
Aggression factors
PF .45
flop 2.19
turn 2.59
river 1.65
folded to river bet 46.06

and my next 2000 hands
VP$IP 14.8
VP$SB 25.83
W$SF 30.48
bb/hr 3.25
bb/100 5.13
WtSD 30.95
W$SD 55.22
PFR% 4.92
Aggression factors
PF .41
flop 1.85
turn 2.44
river 1.73
folded to river bet 52.17

OVERALL STATS for almost 10,000 hands now
VP$IP - 16.10
VP$SB - 30.37
W$SF - 28.31
bb/hr - 2.15
bb/100 - 3.45
WtSD - 33.74
W$SD - 50.89
PFR% - 5.52
Aggression factors
PF .44
flop 1.92
turn 2.20
river 1.31
folded to river bet 43.33

as I have played on, my VP$IP has gone down, in an effort to avoid taking marginal hands too far. (something I have trouble with)

also, i'm concerned with folding to a river bet too much and not raising PF enough. my problem is when I raise AK,AQ,AJ,KQ i'm not sure how to handle them when they miss the flop and so I often don't raise AJ,AQ,KQ, especially from EP or from the blinds. I feel like there is "pressure" on me and that I have to be out almost regardless of the flop.

I almost completely avoid offsuit connectors, even in LP, I will play them from the blinds if I can get in cheap and have plenty of callers. I also do not play any AXo and I am trying to play more AXs from MP and LP with previous callers.

I looked mainly at your overall stats here, because the subsamples are fairly small.

You might be a little tight for those limits, but I'm not sure how Paradise compares to Party in terms of tightness. General consensus is that 15%-20% is typical for VP$IP, and you are in that range. Really your combined stats seem pretty comparable to what most people have.

One thing that I did notice -- your % fold to river bet is steadily increasing. Perhaps it was just an anomaly over a small sample, but you might want to watch it. 52% is way too high for that. You are either taking too many hands to the river or you are folding to one bet too much.

I can definitely say there have been times where I take a hand further than I should. I feel like I "get involved" in the pot and don't want to get out at times.

Not to highjack this thread, but I've seen a couple of threads talking about people's "went to SD %", "won $ at SD", and "fold to river bet %" being too high or low, but I haven't seen any guidelines for these values. At the risk of raising the ire of NPA Ed Miller, does anyone have ranges they'd be willing to share?
