Odds on series went from -600$ to -250$! I actually think the -250$ is a pretty good bet on the Lakers. Fans and the media are so funny, we overreact to everything! One minute Detroit has no chance, the next LA is in trouble?

Game two is a big trap game for Detroit... great potential for a letdown and the Lakers will be possesed. I expect their defense to be much better, and also expect Malone and Payton to show up big time.

To beat sport betting, you have to win 52.4 percent at -110. This playoffs, I think if all you do is predict when the Lakers will show up or not and bet accordingly you will win at least 55 percent.

I took Detroit and under, my wife said take the money-line, but her reasoning had something to do with that nice little horsie that lost the other day, and I, stupidly not seeing the connection, passed.

Since the Lakers figure to show up tomorrow, I guess according to my theory they are my pick. Look for Calgary to win by one goal as I took water guys advice and bet that one too.
