As far as I know, that's a raise. Otherwise I've been doing it ALL WRONG!

I limp pre-flop, check or call flop, and raise turn when board pairs, if three-bet I fold, if not and river doesn't help I check/fold. I take a shot at the bluff on the turn. I don't think unsuited high cards(AQ AJ KJ KQ) hold much value pre-flop at low limits. But I am in the minority so take my advice with a grain of salt. -MrG

RAISE preflop. AJo is a crap multiway hand, you want to knock people out. It's much easier to play postflop if you were the pf raiser.
