tightish player open limps in mid-position, the drunk raises, I'm on the button with two black nines and make it 3 bets. SB calls, BB calls and other two guys also call.


flop is K-J-9 two tone.


all check to me. I bet. all fold.

Drunk couldn't have been too drunk. $240 pot and no one caught enough of that flop to put in $15 after putting in $45 pre-flop? Amazing indeed.


But be thankful. With a bunch of callers, your favorite status would have gone way down.


You think they would have bet or called had you just called per-flop instead of re-raised?

I was not sad when everyone folded.


The game had been kind of tight up to this hand and I really thought there was a good chance of getting heads up with the smelly alcohol man if I 3 bet.


I probably get a little more action on the hand if I just call but I'm not sure how much action I really want with this flop.

If you had gotten action, you'd have likely been facing at least a straight draw paying one small bet to win at least 12.


I would have been to take it down right there as well.
