Oh, you can't compete with me there. Ask Tosh, he saw me get run off the table in quick fashion in a SNG the other day. I think I lasted about 5 hands. With 4 cards there are just WAAAAAYYYYYY too many fun draws to chase.

I really hope I can make my first Zoo event tonight, and will try to be there. The 6:00 pacific start time is slightly tough since I get off from work at 5:30, but hopefully I will make it.

If I do, enjoy my $20, whoever wins.

This money will be tripled if the opponent is holding trips in his hand.

Enjoyed the last week playing this PLO, it seems no hand is that big a favourite over any other. Getting the money is preflop doesn't appear to be a great tactic on balance.

If you can get AAxx heads up, then you want to be all-in preflop. That's how I've built my stack so far. Got all-in against another player's overplayed KKxx and another against a short stack. But a lot of times raising is for buying the button and building a pot for when you hit the flop.

Yeh thats how I've been playing aces - how did I do with that hand out of interest? One thing I've found, in the later stages of multis especially, is when I have AAxx against preflop aggression its also AAxx.

Could have gone either way - though actually he had me back on the ropes for a good while after taking a decent pot off me. So I had to pull out my secret weapon and rely on luck to bring me home /images/graemlins/wink.gif /images/graemlins/smirk.gif.

Another fun tourney (and finally a return from one /images/graemlins/smile.gif...I was close to sending Simon Diamond a bill for getting me into these things in the first place).

An illustrative Omaha hand:

Folded to me short stacked at 7 handed table in SB and I get

9d 8d Js Jc

vs chip leader CCass calling my raise with

7s 6s 5c As.

Flop is 5d 7d Tc

Now CCass is ahead of me here with bottom two pair vs my Jacks, but he's a big dog in the hand. I'm in the lead here as I have a 21 outs. Nines outs to the diamond flush, I can out 2 pair him T for another 2 outs. I have straight draw outs as well, any 6, 9, J or Q for another 10 outs. Twodimes has me at 68:32 favorite though I'm behind on the flop. I bet the pot and CCass sets me all-in.

On the turn comes the 9s, one of my 21 outs, and I have the straight. Now I'm a 9-1 favorite to double through. But he gets his miracle 5h to give him the boat and he eliminates me.
