I'm not too pleased with my play in this hand. First is the limp in early position. I think that the JTo is a marginal hand this early, and that I might have been better off folding. I like my raise to 160, but once I get three callers and the Qs on the turn, I think my bet of 120 is pretty horrible. I should either bet around $700 or else check and fold. As it was, once my opponent calls and bets into me I see no way I can call. So my turn bet is just wasted money.

These three flushes always give me trouble, since I don't want to give a free card. But I don't want to bet into made flushes either.

What do you think?

Suerte,

It's the river check i don't like, you should have just bet out 120 again and folded to a raise, you will be surprised how often he folds or calls you. If you really don't care for the showdown then fine but there is every chance he has nothing but the ace of spades.

I agree with Mack. Bet the river, (at least what you bet the turn.) He has to figure you for no flush when you check the river, where as a decent bet on the end may just shove him out of the pot, and if reraises you can lay them down without a second thought
