Just moved to costa rica and there is no blackjack here but they play a game called rummy. Pretty similar from what ive seen -4 deck shoe
-blackjack is 1-1 not 1.5-1
-house must draw to 17
-3 of a kind gets paid 2X bet
-3 cards same suit in sequence gets 5X bet
-3 7s gets paid 5X bet
I need to learn basic strategy for this game if anyone has a link, i figure its still better to play this then the other house games while i wait to get a seat on the poker table.

Can't comment on what kind of edge the bonus payouts give you, but only even money on BJ is a pretty solid house edge.

The house edge is in the -2% range. Even money blackjacks is a killer, you can't beat this game. The bonus payoffs are so rare (your a poker player - what are the odds of the flop showing a 3 card straight flush? - and you get paid what? 5x your bet? WoooHooo!) the bonuses don't amount to nothing, don't worry about them.

Does the dealer hit or stand on soft 17?
How many times can you split?
Can you double down on any two cards?
Can you double down after splitting?
Can you re-split aces?

The basic strategy for this game should be the same as basic strategy for normal blackjack with the same rules.
