How do you calclate the percentages of hands over one another like on WPT?

Say AQo vs 66?

Thanks!

The easiest way is to use a showdown simulator like the one at http://www.twodimes.net

This gives the result

http://twodimes.net/h/?z=329865
pokenum -h as qd - 6h 6c
Holdem Hi: 1712304 enumerated boards
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
As Qd 767275 44.81 939910 54.89 5119 0.30 0.450
6c 6h 939910 54.89 767275 44.81 5119 0.30 0.550

Ahem, edit: I.E. 6c6h wins 55% of showdowns against AsQd. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks Devil, but a friend and I were interested in being able to calculate it by hand/in our heads.

im guessing it is damn near impossible to calculate in your head these percentages exactly. but i imagine you can memorize general percentages. just messing around with twodimes, you can see that a pair is anywhere from say 50-57% favorite over two unsuited overcards, no matter what the pair or the over cards
QQ is 57% over AKo,22 is 53% over AKo,22 is 53% over 49o, similarly it appears the same type of pattern holds true for a pair to one overcard ie,kk is 71% over AQo, 66 is 68% over A5o,66 is 69% over 75o. i couldnt have just discovered this, somebody must have some charts or something, no? /images/graemlins/cool.gif
then again, i could be way off base using only a few test runs
hmm, looking at more test runs, it appears even if the opponent holds suited cards, the percentages are in the same range ie, 66 is 66% over 75s
be warned, my advice may be terribly dangerous, damaging, or incorrect
