So after all the hoopla over the excellent prostitution that you cats are doing I have a couple of questions, well really one but if I can think of one while I'm typing the first I will add it. If I play on Prima and whore at these casinos will that in any way jeopardize my account with, say, the Gaming Club pokerroom? I've read people here that had their accounts frozen with major hassle for opening multiple accounts on different skins and I'm wondering if this is a risk if I go this whoring route which sounds pretty sweet.

I've been posting here since January, but just recently here in the Zoo and so I have a few fairly ignorant affiliate questions.

1. Can I just have a friend/my fiance/my parents sign up as an affiliate on a party skin and just sign up under them?

If yes I will just transfer the funds through the skin itself or using my Neteller account so that it doesn't ever hit their checking account and hence I am the one paying the taxes and not them. Is this a reasonable system or would it be illegal? Also, do the party skins get pissy with you if you always transfer funds from the affiliate to your account. I read the agreement and they explicitly say you can't be your own affiliate in order to get your own rake back.

If the answer to 1 is yes why are there at least a couple posts per day of people saying "I need an affiliate for Empire" or Intertops or whatever?

Finally is there anything affiliates actually do? For example could I become an affiliate simply so that I could respond to posts here in the zoo and collect rake from these players or is there more to it than that?

Sorry to ask such basic questions that I'm sure you all are tired of.

You can do this but it is not recommended for several reasons. 1) Your friend/my fiance/my parents will need to keep getting a new signups (at least one every 3 months) to keep their account active. 2) Your idea of transfering from that affiliate account to your personal account is not a good idea. If they notice it you risk losing all your accounts.

Because it is possible to give people a rake back, just don't be stupid and transfer on the same site as the one you are giving the rake back. Let Neteller keep their 1.9% and transfer on Neteller.

Besides make a little spreadsheet tracking your deals and what you owe each player each month, affiliates don't do anything special that you can't do.

i think this is an excellent question.

i know that gaming guy has been great with us, and i would love to hear his take on these posts that have popped up. it is a 100% certainty that he has seen them.

i've always been told (by friends, not officially) that as long as we follow the rules, that whoring is expected by the casinos. however, maybe gaming guy can shed some "official light".

i have to be honest. i play so much at nugget that i would *never* get pegged a whore because i am a returning player and almost daily player for 2 years and have only done it the one time. i wonder what the stance is for complete newbies?
