Been beating the small stakes in A.C. for 1bb/hour and planning to move out west when I graduate from nursing school in a year. Interested in Reno (Vegas 2nd choice) as place of new start for both careers. Does anyone know how the games are out there? I've heard that the games in A.C. are a bit softer. How does Reno compare to Vegas and A.C.? Are there alot of card rooms in Reno? Also, does state of Washington have legalized poker cardrooms like California? Seattle sounds nice too. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Bill---I'll tell you what little I know--A lot of your decision should be based on whether you are a smoker or not---Reno has lots of games, but smoking is allowed---this bothers me so much that I don't play there---I have seen players there wearing gas masks--- Vegas has some 'no smoking' casinos, and when I'm there I play at the Mirage. You will probably find all you want in Vegas. South Lake Tahoe (Harveys) went non-smoking this year, but you would find the cost of living very high. All of California is non-smoking. I am told that Washington has very good poker, though I have not played there.---Hope you get some more answers---Ron
