Desert Diamond Casino

well, in a couple weeks i will be off to Tucson, AZ for a week. I am in a wedding there the next weekend and figured id make a trip out of it. apparently the Desert Diamond Casino is the best place nearby. Who plays in this area? It'd be cool to meet some 2+2ers from here. im not sure when i'll be playing there yet, as there are plenty of other things i am going to be doing while im out there. just want to know who i should look for when im there. i think i want to play in the $5 tournaments that they have there.

In another life many years ago, my best friend and I(both were single then) used to go to Vegas half a dozen times a year. We were craps players in those days, and win or lose, we always had a blast. One trip I'll never forget; we were at O'sheas playing in a very hot crap game. We ran into a couple of guys who told us they were in town for a wedding. One of them was even giving away the bride. When the hot shoot was over, we parted ways. We ran into the same two guys the next day. They told us, "We wandered into a sportsbook after we left you guys, and missed the wedding, but we hit six races!!!"

oh no, it won't happen to me. my friends will never let me stay at the casino that long. besides, im the best man. i have to be there!! i think i will go earlier in the week to the casino, and then party the rest of the time. camp out wed. bachelor party thurs. barbecue at the bride's house fri. wedding sat. hmmmm... and im supposed to drive back here to chicago on sunday morning? oh boy.

Are you crazy? Fly. Tucson has na airport!

yes im crazy. also, gas will be MUCH cheaper than flying. and i like driving. plus i have 2 people riding/driving with me. also, then i have transportation while i am there.
