question:

EDIT: OK, I just read your exchange with Grannie, and now I understand what you mean. You make an interesting point, but I think that while Grannie's post may have been miopic in that she only mentioned one casino site, I don't think she was spamming outright. I still hold to what I said before (below), especially the last part. The flame wars around here grew tiresome long ago, if someone posts spam or something otherwise objectionable, let's just let Mat handle it. This forum used to be the best source of poker bonus info on the net, let's not let these flame wars get any worse than they already are.



I'm not sure if you are calling me a spammer or grannie. Either way, in a discussion about playing casinos for profit, not discussing kickbacks is silly because they account for such a high portion of your EV. I feel the same way about rake rebates for poker sites, and I wish that someone had mentioned them to me when I started out playing, as I am currently missing out on a lot of income because I only get rake rebates from a few sites.

I think it's possible for me to make a post about kickbacks without it being an advertisement for my site. But, as I said in my original post, my opinion on this matter is biased.

Obviously there are many people who come here solely to market their wares, and they should be dealt with. But there are others (and I include myself in this second group) who can post quality information sans marketing pitches and still offer kickbacks.

If my post bothered anyone I am sorry... but it does seem as if many of us around here have gotten a bit thin skinned as of late.

Sorry that I involved you in this lunchmeat.. But I’m trying to make a point here. And I say it again! Lunchmeat has nothing to do with this. I don't know him or have ever spooked with him. This was only meant to show that if everyone was going to do a post like Granny did it would end up like Spam heaven here.
