I have not been at the table long but my opponent seems fairly aggressive. We are 3 handed and I am on the button.

I am dealt Q9o and raise(marginal?). BB calls.
Flop is T7Tr, check, bet, call.
Turn is 7 completing the rainbow. he checks, i bet, he checkraises, i 3 bet, he folds.
This isn't play i make very often at all, but my thinking was that he could have had A-high, hoping it was the best hand, or be on a total bluff himself. I thought he would laydown A high as well as a bluff when i 3 bet, and he would cap with a 10 or 7 and i would easily fold. Thoughts?

The board is an easy one for him to try to run a bluff with, so, if there ever is a time for you to do a counter steal on what you perceive to be a steal attempt by him, this is an ok time.

What sucks though is sometimes he has ace high and will then call you down.

people watch enough WPT to know you'd *never* 3bet with a good hand there /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
