After he kept on going on the river, I started thinking A5 and slowed down. What would you do?

I think I would've slowed down just when you did. Most likely holding are 56s, A5s, 4's, 2's. Maybe 3's.

Since he raised and capped the turn, and also rasied the river after you've shown constant aggression, I'd call the river raise. Yah, I would. Off to read the results, but given the last line in your post, I assume he had a set.

I would play it the same and that was bfore I looked at the results. Sometimes you just have to grit your teeth and do the right thing. You did it. This time the fish didnt suck out on you /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I play it the same way. Too many at Party stay with any A and wheels are all to common with any three of 2, 3, 4, or 5 on the board.

I check/call the river, but I wonder if you will see worse hands then the str8 raising you on the river more then you will see the str8?
