DISCLAIMER: This is only a post about some miraculous hands I made to win a few SNGs tonight... Please don't hammer me for trashing the forum. It was exciting for me, and I just wanted to share in the fact that all you really need IS A CHIP AND A CHAIR!!!

I started playing SNG's a few days agao(mostly $5) and had some nice success at first, up to today, I cashed in 13/18 with 5 1st's, 4 2nd's, and 4 3rd's, making $120 in the process(I think my calculations are right.... some were $6, and some $5.50).

Today, I played 1 $5 on Paradise and 1 on UB, both times making wrong moves that cost me... I finished 10th and 7th, respectively. This sorta made me feel like not playing, so I played about 2 hours of $50 ring game NL on Stars(won $30 there). Took a break in the afternoon, then came back to try some more....

Played 1 $10 SNG on Royal Vegas, and got rivered to finish in 5th... I got all-in a little too early.

I then decided to play a $5 on Paradise, and a $10 on Royal Vegas simultaneously.... here's the scoop:

On Paradise, 1st hand of tourney, I get KK in BB, make it T100 to go after 4 limpers, I get it HU. Flop comes 7 10 3 rainbow, I bet T250, limper calls, Turn is blank, I push, limper calls, shows J9o, river blanks, I double out the gate.

Don't get a hand to play until level 4, when I get AQs, AKo, and QQ all in a row, I raise PF, and am folded to every time. Later, down to 5 players, I'm in SB(100) with ~T2700 and raise to T600 with 9s 7s. BB(T2400) calls. Flop comes 8s 4s 7d. I bet T1500, BB pushes, I insta-call, BB shows Q8o. Turn is an 8, river blanks, and I'm down to ~T400... I make a HUGE comeback and win the tourney....

Meanwhile, over at Royal Vegas...............

I'm blinded down to about T200 chips with blinds at 160/320 and 5 handed.... I get Ducks UTG, and push... whole table calls, I river a 2 for the set, and take down a T1000 pot. Next hand, from BB(blinds just went to 320/640), I have 7h 6h. Folded to button(T700) who pushes, SB(T2000), who pushes, I call, and flop a straight flush, 4h 5h 8h. I now have T2700 and it's to 4 players.

Next time I get the BB, I have pocket 7's. SB(T1000) pushes, I call, and flop a set, and he's gone... down to 3, I have ~T3500.....

A few hands later, big stack at table takes out small stack, so we're HU....

HAND 1 - I get A10s in BB. Blinds are now 640/1280. I have ~T3500 to start the hand, Villain has ~T6500. He pushes, I call.... He has K4so, I hit a 10 on flop, and take it down...

HAND #2 - I have ~T7000, Villain has ~T3000. I get KQs in the SB. I complete, Villain pushes, I call... Villain has QJs. Flop comes K K 10. Turn brings the case King, and I make another HUGE comeback to win this one!!!

In the span of 20 or so hands, I flopped a straight flush, and turned quads to win a tourney.... Incredible!!!

Add that to the fact that simultaneously, I got hit to T400 with blinds of 100/200, and came back to win that, and, to tell the truth, I almost pissed myself! Helluva run of cards/poker for about 20 minutes there.

Novice... 60 chips -> 1st place for me.

Edit: My memory sucks, it was actually 25 chips.

It feels really good to do that, doesn't it? I mean... I can't describe the high I get when I make something like this happen....

Glad someone else out there is in the same boat...

Good going, ZJ.
