I think I messed this up, but want the collective wisdom of the group. I'm gergery with full hand text below. Summary: I got a free play in the BB with 25o after two limpers. I catch middle pair, check the flop (8,5,3) to see what others do, and one limper raises the other folds. It felt like he had 2 overcards so I put him all-in. He hadn't been at the table that long and I read him as average, and i'd been playing very tight. Unfortunately, he had top pr and i'm out. I only had 5x blind at T1500 with average stack over T4500, and was playing for top 30 place (110 left at this point).
I have a feeling this was a mistake and I should have been more patient, but after the SB hits me i'm just 4xbb with blinds increasing in another few minutes. At what point do you risk it?
