View Full Version : Preflop question
10 handed table. A weak, loose player limps in EP. Its folded around to you on the button. The blinds are "average-tight". Is there any hands you would limp with here? I went down to Q9s the other day, raising that is.

what would you had done if ESPN leaded out betting on the flop?
I remember that table and it was quite loose and passive except for Jeffer. I don't remember you being involved in many hands vehn.
Now I know to keep an eye out for you when you raise me when I limp.
I'd limp with just about every suited connector. I probably would have limped with your Q9s but raising might be better.
The key to your decision is how tight the blinds play and how quickly the EP weak player will fold. If the blinds defend a lot and the EP goes too far with his hands, you should limp with many more hands including Q9s. If the blinds are very tight and the EP folds on the flop if he misses, then you should raise a lot and always bet the flop.
